Developmental Movement Training 101
 
Imagine a room full of 2-year olds.
 
If you’ve ever spent time with a toddler you know they are full of life. They are confident in their bodies and explore with ease. They are curious, excited, and engaged.

Nobody tells 2-year olds HOW to move. Nobody tells them to lift weights or get on a treadmill. Their movement is free and effortless.

This ease is a result of moving through a series of developmental patterns.

It’s these patterns that allow children to progress from helpless baby to unstoppable toddler to fully functioning adult. 

You see, all those basic things babies do, like rolling over and crawling, are part of a sophisticated sequence that trains the body for complex movement in a really short time.

You went through the same developmental sequence. And that data is still embedded inside your body.

What’s worse is that those habits usually creep in slowly. It can take years before you become aware of the red flags your body sends you.
